Lauren is starting to smile. She gave mommy some smiles on Tuesday. Here is a bit of a grin. Lauren went with me to a postpartum checkup today. She cried a little bit in the Dr's office. Deciding to risk more tears in order to spend a little more time away from home, we ran a few errands and Lauren cried some in TJ Maxx and while strollering up Broadway. She seems to find comfort in her pacifier, but doesn't keep it in her mouth very long. But all in all, it was a successful outing. I managed to get Lauren and her car seat in and out of the car and her stroller in and out of the car along with some shopping bags and the diaper bag...all without mishap. My two new favorite things are ordering stuff online (why go out when the kind people of UPS, FedEx and DHL are good enough to bring it to the door) and drive thrus (when you just have to go out). Lauren is s-o-o-o-o beautiful...I know you are proud of her...can't wait to hold her..LOVE to you three, Grandma Saundra
