Here's Lauren modeling some of the items we use up here in chilly Chicago to get through the winter. What girl doesn't need a leopard print coat and matching shoes?! And who can resist a Sherpa hat when it's on sale at TJMaxx? Same thing goes for a cozy sleep sack. We've been trying a variety of sleep wear options for Lauren. She has some fleece sleepers and some lighter weight sleepers that can be paired with the fleecy sleep sack. She also has a breathable blanket to sleep under. She seems to get along fine with all the options. Her current sleep routine is going down for the night after her bath around 8pm and waking between 6:30-7am. She naps for an hour at 9am and for 2 hours at 1:30pm. We are very pleased with this schedule!

    Hi Liz,

Just checked my blog today, I'm a little slow sometimes!

I have a couple of delicious cake recipes you might enjoy. One is called Snickerdoodle cake. I use this one often, it always gets compliments. I also have a fantastic chocolate cake recipe. If you would be interested in either, e-mail me at heather_mckillip@yahoo.com. I would be happy to e-mail you the recipes!
