That's a quote from Lauren on Wednesday.Bret made a surprise trip up to Chicago and stayed with us on Wednesday. His 7pm arrival happened to coincide with a house showing at that same time, and an offer on our house from a different buyer. For extra chaos, it was also a "girls night out" for Liz, so I had a full load of toddler and dog wrangling.
Unfortunately, this is the best picture I could manage, while running out the door to get the an over-due offer response done.
I've only had Lauren on two of the house showings, but she turns out to be quite the sales prodigy with quotes like "We have clean carpet!", "I have a nice room, do you want to see it?" "That's the other deck, the BIG one." and "What's your name?
The good news to report is that our house is under contract! That's perfect timing with everything else going on. About the only thing left is the inspection which is sometimes used to extract a few extra bucks out of the seller, but I don't think that will be a problem here since everything is in good shape.
