There I was, just lounging on my couch, when I decided to take a quick shot
from around the house. There's not a lot to say about this shot. It's a
coffee cup from my cabinet. The backdrop is just two sheets of copier
paper. I took about ten shots -- mainly just tinkering with my camera;
white balance, manual/auto focus, etc.
I did some editing in Photoshop. Mainly, I used the clone tool to clean up
a few stray things in the image, like the seem where the two pieces of paper
met, and a stray reflection on the cup's rim. The shot -- having been shot
in low light -- seemed to have quite a big of excess "noise." A quick run
through Bert's Noise Reduction Action took care of the noise in no time.
