I decided to revisit an earlier project from a trip to Arizona. I'm not
sure anyone else will enjoy this project. But I do. I'm planning to
print and mount these as a triptych.
These images have a basic amount of digital darkroom work. Obviously, all
of them were converted to black-and-white. I used Photoshop's Channel
Mixer to make those adjustments. Each image needed slightly different
settings to unify the exposure -- similar to what I would have done in a
traditional dark room.
I've already made a print of the slide, but plan to print a new set of proofs
and make some final adjustments before creating the final prints. I'll
make some final alterations to unify the exposure of the sand, and balance the
sky as much as possible. I might invest some time in examining the
exposure of the mountains, as well.
